I started to think about how long I have been addicted to fanfiction, and how it all started.

I think it all started at least about four or five years ago. My first addiction was BTVS. I think I had watched BTVS season 2 episodes for the first time (you know, Angelus in all his yummy badness), so I wanted to know more about the coming episodes. Stupid me, but I had to go read what was coming. So I found an episode guide (no, it wasn't just a guide, it was some place where I could get full scripts about every episode). Pretty soon I became addicted to know more and more about the show, and I wasn't exactly happy with all the things what the real show offered for me, sooo... I found the amazing world of fanfiction. You can imagine how happy I was. I was in seven heaven.

I think at the some point I got bored reading BTVS  fanfiction, and then I found Dark Angel. At first I loved Max/Logan pairing, but then it just didn't click. He was just boring and annoying (this was and still is my opinion, you can think what ever you what - so don't shoot me). Sooo, and again I have to find some alternatives. First became Max/Zack pairing. Then Max/Alec.

I'm pretty (let's just say 90%) sure that I spend a year reading just Dark Angel fanfiction. Nothing else - not even BTVS.

Then I couldn't find anymore really good Max/Alec fics. And it was time to change my addiction again. And this time it was BTVS again - and specifically Buffy/Spike.

It was really exciting to read Buffy/Spike stories. I have always liked him when he was a real BAD BOY. I felt myself kinda naughty when I wanted to read all those yummy B/S fics. But pretty soon I get bored - again. And I hooked up with Buffy/Angel fics - again.

But I think at this point I also found crossovers too. I accidently read a BTVS/Highlander crossover, and I was addicted - yet again. I tried to find every BTVS/Highlander crossover that I could get. There wasn't much of those - unfortunately. Hmmm... I think this was the time when I stumbled across with Steve Pantovich's Wandererverse. And I had finally found something that keep me busy for looooong time.

My fanfiction addiction has moved on, but it has still mostly stayed on BTVS crossovers.

So, how your addiction started?

Ok...How did my addiction start?? I guess it started a few years ago when I watched the X-Files. I was searching the web for every little thing I could find on it, when I stumbled across the Gossamer Project(an X-Files Fanfiction Archive )) Pretty soon I had started to read BTVS fanfiction, but I only really liked crossovers. At the moment I read a lot of CSI fanfiction with GSR in it....I'm such a shipper. :)

Well mine started when i became a huge dark angel fan. When the show ended i was shocked and had a huuge empty hole in my life (lol). Then i turned to fanfictionl. But i've always been a max/alec fan. I think those two just stick.:)
